Food was incredible and suited large party of different dietary requirements. We ordered a bunch of plates and roti and were stuffed after it all! All of the food was so fresh and tasty, the service was attentive and pretty quick. The decor is beautiful and the atmosphere is great. Special mention to the spicy margaritas which were delicious! Easily accessible for family travelling in from park and ride

I’ve been to various Mowgli locations, but this was the first visit for two of my friends. Everyone loved everything! We had a very helpful and attentive server, the food and drinks were delicious and the restaurant itself is stunning.

We had a really wonderful dinner at Mowgli. This is a real treat for anyone who wants a fantastic Indian meal in the heart of Edinburgh, in a beautiful building, and served by wonderfully friendly staff. We were served by Ruth and she went above and beyond to make our evening delightful. The meals are not like your typical Indian restaurant — the menu consists of small dishes, perfectly formed. The interior is stunning — an old bank building with a main room with beautiful domed ceiling. I also recommend checking out the cocktail menu for a treat. The lychee martini was perfect. I am struggling to think of anything I’d improve. Perhaps the only suggestion would be some cushions or comfier seats as we were on the wooden benches. They’re fun and lovely but get a little uncomfortable by the end of the meal!

Went for my birthday dinner, the restaurant itself is gorgeous and the food was delicious. The cocktails and dessert were also a highlight. And thank you to Laura for being so friendly and attentive! Will definitely be back.

Our first visit to Mowgli and we were really impressed. The food was fantastic, so full of flavour and we were really happy with our choices. The sticky chicken was incredible! The atmosphere is beautiful and the food arrived quickly even with our table of 6 on a busy Saturday night. Great friendly service. Enjoyed the food so much I forgot to take photos of it! Can’t wait to visit again!

Such a stunning interior, no matter where you get seated it is a beautiful experience. The servers were lovely and helpful in explaining about ordering. The food was amazing, came out in a good time. I think it's a good price given the atmosphere and quality (maybe some spicier options would be nice :D) Will definitely come back!

My wife and I came here as part of our wedding anniversary celebrations following a recommendation from a friend. We went for the Feasting menu as it meant we could get a number of dishes and share. It was amazing! We loved the redesign of an old bank, trying dishes we wouldn’t normally order and the whole experience. I’d highly recommend everyone try this! We’re already looking forward to our next visit

Incredible British Indian street food restaurant. Not my first time time, always get the rose and lychee martini it’s amazing! Food is always incredible, recommend getting multiple dishes to share. Cool concept for the swinging chairs. Building is stunning, used to be a bank!
